Al-Qamar laboratory, as the preeminent organization for Medical Lab Technologist, provides dynamic leadership and vigorously promotes all aspects of clinical laboratory science practice, education and management to ensure excellent, accessible cost-effective laboratory services for the consumers of health care. Aims: 
Al-Qamar laboratory, invites all members to join the association.. Association unites members of each clinical laboratory discipline to share information, discuss trends, solve problems, and discuss new technology and advancements.

Brief History 
A body of Medical Laboratory Technologists came into existence in the city of saints Jhang, an old& historical city of Punjab province of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the year 2009 and developed to National Body as  Al Qamar Medical Laboratory (AQLaboratory). The Association has assumed National characters and constituted State Chapter in all Provinces and Union Territories of the country. Al Qamar Laboratory is the only "Apex Body" of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Pakistan which is working its best to promote Medical Laboratory Technology and the profession in the best interest of the Technologists of Pakistan. 
  
The Technologist all over the country came forward, joined hands and established  Al Qamar Laboratoryin the year 2007. As the founder members realized that this association will be part of all provinces and Union Territories, with its Head office .Later the constitution of the association was introduced to see the development of the cadre. The founder members of this association visited most of the Provinces, Hospitals and Medical Colleges & universities with the idea to bring all Medical Laboratory Technologists on 
one platform to give strength to the Association.

Al Qamar Laboratory will organize annual conferences at various places in future and become a prestigious association. Several other activities such as: 

· Workshop & symposia on various topics of interest.

· Rural health camp, Health awareness activities.

· Diagnostic evaluation camp, Blood donation camp.

· Public Health Programme in association with Ministry of Health, Education and Information & Broadcasting, Govt. of Pakistan, at Provincial, and National level.
